Graduation Requirements

* Since students take 4 years of history and 2 years of art, but we only require 3 years of history and 1 year of art to graduate, we count the college prep graduation requirement from the student's extra history or art class.

All classes meet the A-G requirements that are required by the California State Universities and University of California systems. It is a graduation requirement to meet A-G classes to apply for college.

High Tech High only counts classes for credit for graduation if it is a “C-” and above, even if another school considers “D” as passing.

Students have the option of taking Honor Classes in their 11th and 12th grade year. In addition, they have the opportunity to be a Palomar College Dual Enrollment Student 9th - 12th grade.
